Alma Libre
Alma Libre was created in March 2021 by a team of experienced volunteers to fill a significant gap in animal welfare regarding the rescue of every animal in immediate life-threatening danger, whether trapped in a dangerous location or injured/sick and in need of immediate capture, which often requires experience and specialized equipment to be safely accomplished for veterinary care or sheltering. Volunteers, without any financial gain, can now respond as quickly as possible to a large number of urgent incidents in Attica, saving many animals from certain death and assisting many other animal welfare volunteers in caring for unmanageable animals in their colonies.
The team members teach in the "Rescues & Sterilizations" course at the Zero Stray Academy.
Πάνος Αντωνόπουλος
He is a civil engineer with a postgraduate degree in environmental management and protection, and for the last 6 years, he has been working on European funded programs. He is also involved in artistic projects (painting, graffiti). He adopted Gizmo 5 years ago and since then discovered that "I love animals more than I thought. Artemis' idea for 'Spot a Stray' came at the right time".
Σεραφίνα Αβραμίδου
She is the appointed advisor of the Municipality of Athens for stray animals and is the one who managed to make the municipality a model for the whole of Greece within 2 years. She took over an unsuitable hosting space that resembled a landfill and transformed it into a modern shelter, now known as "Socrates Shelter." Thousands of animals have been hosted, adopted, and sterilized through the Urban Fauna. She has been an active animal lover for more than 20 years, volunteering at SAPT Hellas since 2008 and serving as program manager at Animal Action Hellas since 2016. We are delighted and honored to have her as our instructor in the courses "Shelters (I)" and "Volunteering".
Γιάννης Βαβίτσας
He holds a postgraduate degree in Physics and has been working as a telecommunications engineer for the last 16 years. In March 2022, he published his first novel, "Band Lack*", while in June 2013 his short story "Bloody Canvas" was included in the short story collection "15 bullets looking for victims" as part of a crime fiction competition. Inseparable members of his family with Artemis are their two four-legged tail-wagging companions, and they are proud that these are the big siblings of their baby.

The foremost expert on the role of the Hellenic Police (ELAS) in combating animal abuse is Police Lieutenant Colonel Nikos Chrysakis, author of the groundbreaking handbook "The Legal Status of Animals in the Greek Legal Order." This book serves as a guide to legislation and police actions for the protection of companion animals. He is also a lecturer at the Zero Stray Academy in the course "The role and contribution of ELAS and Municipal Police."
Γεωργία Διαμαντοπούλου
Since 2018, Georgia Diamantopoulou has been the Coordinator for European Companion Animal Policy at the Brussels office of the international animal protection organization FOUR PAWS / VIER PFOTEN. Now, at the Zero Stray Academy, she is our instructor for the course "Legal (II)." With expertise in identification and registration (I&R), as well as in movements and illegal trafficking, she represents the organization in the subgroup on the health and welfare of pets in trade within the EU Platform on Animal Welfare. Additionally, she is involved in the Working Group on Companion Animals of the Intergroup on the Welfare and Conservation of Animals of the European Parliament. With studies at KU Leuven, she has worked with Eurogroup for Animals, the European Parliament, and European media outlets.
Μάρσα Δημοπούλου
She is the first Special Secretary for Animal Protection in Greece. She is a lawyer specialized in animal law, an activist for their rights, and an instructor in the course "National Strategy of Local Government and Objectives of Law 4830/21" at the Zero Stray Academy.
As a lawyer, she has collaborated with animal welfare organizations and municipalities throughout the country, providing consultancy on stray animal management issues. She is an Auditor/Lead Auditor with knowledge in Negotiation and holds a postgraduate degree in Human Resources Management. She is a graduate of the Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Program of the Kapodistrian University of Athens "Animals: Ethics, Law, Welfare"
Ευάγγελος Δρίβας
Evangelos Drivas is a Police Officer, Clinical Psychologist, and Psychotherapist specialized in Cognitive Therapy. He is also our instructor at the Zero Stray Academy for the course "Animal Abuse". He is the creator of the page and blog 'Report Animal Abuse Greece', which has been operating since 2014, aiming to inform users about current legislation, reporting procedures, and other issues related to animal abuse through various articles and scientific studies. Since 2017, he has been studying the issue of animal abuse and its correlation with intrafamily and interpersonal violence. His latest study (2021) on this topic approaches the profiling of the criminal-psychological profile of the animal abuser.
Ιωάννης Γαϊτανάκης
Ioannis Gaitanakis, Director of the Municipal Police of the Municipality of Ierapetra in Crete, is an instructor at the Zero Stray Academy for the course "The Contribution of the Hellenic Police and Municipal Police." He holds an MBA in Business Administration & Management, is a graduate (with a scholarship) of the pioneering Interdepartmental Postgraduate Program of the Department of Philosophy & the Hellenic Pasteur Institute "Animals: Ethics, Law, Welfare," a Ph.D. candidate at the Department of Business Administration & Tourism of ELMEPA, with a doctoral thesis on "The Impact of Companion Animal Abuse on the Image of a Tourist Destination and the Possibilities for Developing Animal Welfare Tourism in Crete." He is also a trainer in seminars and schools promoting animal welfare.
Mr. Gaitanakis indeed stands out as a pioneer and nationwide model in the field of animal protection. His years of contribution and numerous awards highlight the significant role he plays in promoting animal welfare and enforcing animal protection laws. The actions of the Municipal Police of Ierapetra under his leadership are showcased as an example of correct operation and effectiveness, strengthening the culture of animal welfare and protecting stray animals with consistency and determination. The reputation of their work has transcended Greece's borders, making them a model for other municipalities and organizations across the country.

Dimitris Gougoulis is an Associate Professor at the Department of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Thessaly, specializing in Clinical Pathology of Production Animals. Additionally, he serves as a Professor in the Postgraduate Program "Animals: Ethics, Law, Welfare" at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA). He holds a postgraduate degree in Biostatistics and Medical Data Analysis from the Medical School of the University of Thessaly.

Dimitris Grammatikakis is a positive reinforcement trainer who exclusively employs positive training methods. He is our instructor for the courses "Shelters (II)" and "Management of Strays."
He graduated from a certified Trainer Academy in Thessaloniki and specializes in breeds and dogs that have been unjustly labeled as aggressive, as well as fearful/abused dogs. He is a member of the international organization of animal professionals, I.S.A.P., and serves as a trainer in four-member committees for municipalities in Attica. Additionally, he owns HOMEFREETRAINING and its team of trainers and is a member of the Alma Libre group.
Εριέττα Καραμπέτσου
Erietta Karampetsou is a professional Dog Trainer, Behavior Consultant, and Canine Welfare Specialist, specializing in topics related to Separation Anxiety as a Certified Separation Anxiety Trainer (CSAT). She is also an instructor at the Zero Stray Academy for the course "Shelters (II)." Additionally, she specializes in issues and relationships concerning "Child and Dog" and is a member of Doggone Safe as a certified Dog Bite Safety Educator for bite prevention in children and adults.
She graduated from the Victoria Stilwell Academy Trainer Academy with both theoretical and practical training in Wigan, United Kingdom. In 2017, she published her first book titled "The Art of Communicating with My Dog" by Filatos Publications.
Erietta holds a certification in Canine First Aid from the British College of Canine Studies. She offers free courses for stray dogs and has served as a member of four-member committees for municipalities regarding the management of strays.
Ιωάννης Κωνσταντέλης
Ioannis Konstantellis is a graduate of the Hellenic Military Academy Officers Corps (HMAOC) in Thessaloniki and the School of Veterinary Medicine at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
He serves as the Director of the Veterinary Support Unit at the Military Hospital of Alexandroupolis. In recent years, he has been the responsible veterinarian for the Stray Animal Management Program in the Municipality of Alexandroupolis and the Supervisor of the Municipal Shelter for Stray Animals (KAZ) in the Municipality of Alexandroupolis.
Παντελής Κοσμίδης
Pantelis Kosmidis has been a member of the Account Managers team since September 2023. He is a Chemical Engineer with a master's degree in Business Administration and has extensive professional experience in multinational companies in Greece and abroad, specializing in Consumer, Industrial, and Capital goods sectors.
Additionally, with years of involvement in companion animal welfare, Pantelis serves as a member of the Zero Stray Pawject team, dedicating himself to the cause with great love and respect for our four-legged, loyal, and everlasting human friends.
Νατάσα Κουμπούρου
Natasa Koubourou is a psychologist, graduated from the University of Athens. She has been trained in Compassionate Inquiry, a tool for providing services to adults who have experienced trauma. Additionally, she has training in Therapeutic Storyplay (PTI-PTUK-PTGR), Basic-Ph: The story of Coping Resources by Mooli Lahad (PTGR), as well as Filial Play Therapy (PTI-PTUK-PTG).
Τάσος Κουμασίδης
Tasos Koumasidis, born in Thessaloniki, currently lives and works in London. He has worked as a journalist for a radio station and a newspaper in Thessaloniki. Since 2010, he has specialized in the field of online gaming marketing. During the period 2013-2016, he worked in Gibraltar, where he adopted his cat Sammy, with whom he has been living for the past 8 years. Together with Artemis, Yiannis, and Panos, they have created the "Spot a Stray" application with the vision of becoming a valuable tool in recording and rescuing stray animals.

Evi Mylona serves as Advisor to the Special Secretary for Companion Animal Welfare at the Ministry of Interior. She is a graduate of the Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Program at the Kapodistrian University of Athens titled "Animals: Ethics, Law, Welfare."
Μαρία Παπαμιχαήλ
Maria Papamichail is a political scientist and philologist. She is a member of the working group of SBAP (Stray Animal Protection Society). Over the years, she has worked as a scientific collaborator at OSCE (Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe), as a scientific collaborator at the Ministry of Defense, at the Ministry of Shipping, as a communication advisor at the Hellenic Institute of Cultural Diplomacy, and as a collaborator with the Environmental Museum of PIOPI, the Aegean Team, the International Bridges Film Festival, among others. She is also a professor at the Zero Stray Academy, teaching how a municipality can promote its work.
Κατερίνα Παπαποστόλου
Katerina Papapostolou is an educator specialized in special education and school psychology. She was recognized as one of the distinguished educators for the year 2020. She is also a certified animal therapist by the IFZ and an author of educational books on animal welfare. Her books aim to help readers see life through the eyes of neglected animals, understanding that we are all equal on this planet. With over 20 years of experience in creating and implementing educational programs and having trained more than 350,000 students in over 650 schools nationwide, she joins our academy to convey the power of school animal education programs and experiential animal welfare seminars to municipalities. These initiatives are considered highly significant in managing the population of stray and pet animals.
Αλέξης Πατέλης
Alexis Patelis holds a doctoral degree in economics from Princeton University in the USA, where he completed his dissertation under the supervision of former Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke, Head of the Prime Minister's Economic Office, and instructor at the Zero Stray Academy. Additionally, he has a master's degree in economics from the same university and a bachelor's degree in economics and mathematics from the University of Sussex in the United Kingdom. For the past 27 years, he has worked as an economist and analyst in the financial sector in London, New York, and Athens.
Τάκης Προεστάκης
Takis Proestakis is the individual in Greece who knows better than few others how an animal shelter is created, maintained properly, and how animals are given up for adoption. He is the founder of Takis Shelter, the most famous shelter in our country, from which thousands of animals have been rescued and adopted.

Άρτεμης Ράφα
Artemis Rafa is a marketing and communications professional who has been working in the telecommunications sector for the past 8 years. Along with her partner, Giannis, they have occasionally cared for various animals. Their dog, Heracles, and their cat, Loukoumis, both of whom were strays, are members of their family, aged 7 and 9 respectively. Together with Giannis, Panos, and Tasos, they have created the "Spot a Stray" application, hoping to contribute to the issue of stray dogs in Greece.

Our team is growing! Since December 2022, we have had Spiros Romanos as our Account Manager. Spiros comes from a business management background, having served in executive positions in multinational and Greek companies in the consumer goods and retail sector, with experience in commercial management, marketing, operations, and general management. He has worked in Greece, Bulgaria, and Cyprus.
Silja Schiller-Moumtzidis
Silja is an economist with 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and public health sectors, holding significant administrative positions in multinational companies such as Johnson & Johnson, WPP, L'Oréal, and Porsche. She serves as a global consultant for Mars Petcare on creating business models for the eradication of stray animals on an international level. She has extensive experience and knowledge on resolving and reducing the number of stray animals in India, the USA, Europe, China, and Russia. Silja holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Freie Universitaet Berlin, an MSc in Management from the University of Oxford, and a diplôme de Grande Ecole de Commerce from ESCP Paris.
Νεφέλη Σίνου
Nefeli Sinou is a veterinarian with extensive experience in municipal programs and shelters. She specializes in shelter dog management, mass sterilization programs, and crisis management. She has managed veterinary care in collaboration with our team at the municipal dog shelters of Sparta, the #ProjectSparti, from its inception to the present day, providing complete care for 403 animals during the largest crisis ever encountered in a municipal dog shelter and under adverse conditions.
Σταματίνα Σταματάκου
Stamatina Stamatakou, a journalist with a strong activist background and a graduate of Political Science and Public Administration from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, serves as the Director of the Zero Stray Academy. She has collaborated with major media outlets and specialized in animal welfare reporting, conducting on-site inspections at municipal dog shelters, highlighting egregious abuses, and elevating animal welfare to a high-level political issue through her work. From her school years, she has been an active volunteer and has rescued hundreds of animals, turning her home into a small personal shelter. As she emphasizes, animal welfare is a matter of politics and culture, and showing compassion towards all creatures is a sign of inexhaustible humanity.
Ειρήνη Ταπούτη
Eirini Tapouti is a veterinarian with over 40 years of experience. She has dealt with extremely difficult cases and has saved thousands of animals. She is known for her decades-long voluntary contributions, having cared for countless animals selflessly. At Zero Stray Academy, she teaches the course "The Importance of Sterilization (I)", imparting the significance of sterilization in addressing the issue of stray animals.
Theo Moumtzidis
Theodore is a Business Consultant with 30 years of experience, having advised top management teams of dozens of financial institutions in the United States, Mexico, Central America, Oceania, and Europe.
Before founding the consulting firm Delos Advisors in 2015, Theodore served as the Head of the Retail Banking Strategy Practice at First Manhattan Consulting Group. He has held senior positions (Partner) at Mitchell Madison Group and served as an Associate at The Boston Consulting Group in New York. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics (with honors) from Georgetown University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Αθανασία Τριανταφυλλοπούλου
Athanasia Triantafyllopoulou is a Professor of Development Institutions of Local Government at the Department of Business Administration and Organizations of the University of Peloponnese. She teaches the course "Local Government (I)" at the Zero Stray Academy.
She holds a postgraduate degree in "State and Public Policy" from the Political Science Department of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and a Ph.D. in Political Science from the same university, specializing in the operations of Local Government Organizations. She teaches at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels at the Department of Business Administration and Organizations of the University of Peloponnese. Additionally, she teaches in the Postgraduate Program of the Department of Economics, School of Economics and Political Sciences of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, as well as in the thematic unit "Administration of Cultural Phenomena" at the School of Social Sciences of the Hellenic Open University. She has taught subjects related to the administration and organization of Central Government and Local Government, as well as topics in public policies of local government at the National School of Public Administration and Local Government.
She is a lawyer at the Supreme Court (Areios Pagos) and has worked as a legal advisor at the Hellenic Company for Local Development and Self-Government S.A. She has participated in committees for the drafting of legislation on issues of local government and social economy.
Βασίλης Τζιγκούρας
Professor Vasilis Tzigouras teaches the course "Shelters (II)" at the Zero Stray Academy. He is the founder of Plus2feet, a company that manufactures handmade wheelchairs for animals. He has already created wheelchairs for thousands of animals both in Greece and around the world. Vasilis not only educates municipalities on how to manage a disabled animal living in a shelter but also, in collaboration with the European Trust, he will be producing wheelchairs for municipalities that have completed the basic training program at our academy, free of charge.
Ελεάννα Τζίτζη
Eleanna graduated from the Department of Turkish and Modern Asian Studies at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. During her student years, she joined a research team studying issues related to applied linguistics in learning Turkish. They have participated in three international conferences, and one of their research articles has been published in IJLET.
From a young age, she has been sensitive to the issue of stray animals, coming from a family that actively showed love for animals by caring for and rescuing those in need. When she joined the Animal Welfare group at school, where their activities included feeding stray animals in the area, she realized that with small actions from each of us, the world can gradually change. She believes that actions speak louder than words, which is why she decided to work at the Zero Stray Pawject, where she has been a member of the team since February 2022, serving as an Account Manager.
Σοφία Τζονίκη
Sophia Tzoniki is the General Secretary of the Zero Stray Pawject and a professor at the Zero Stray Academy. From 2009 to 2019, she served as the General Secretary of the Panhellenic Animal Welfare Federation, acting as the liaison between the Federation and the Prosecutor's Office and Police Departments. She specializes in issues related to animal abuse and illegal breeding, guiding individuals and organizations to report cases of abuse. She is also the president of Stray.gr, an organization dedicated to the protection and care of stray animals and the promotion of animal welfare and responsible adoption to the public.
Λαμπρινή Βέργου
Lamprini Vergou has been a member of the Zero Stray Pawject team since February 2022, serving as the Account Manager. She brings with her a 19-year history of success in various international startups in the fields of tour operators, hotel chains, production companies for shows, and sports events.
Μάνος Βορρίσης
Manos Vorrises is a veterinarian working between Syros and Tinos. In Syros, he operates "We Live Together," focusing on mass sterilizations for stray cats, establishing cat shelters, managing and adopting strays, and organizing educational and cultural activities aimed at animal welfare. In Tinos, he runs the Tinos Veterinary Clinic. He has organized various missions for sterilizations in Folegandros, Amorgos, and Koufonisia.
He is a professor in the "Importance of Sterilization" course at the Zero Stray Academy, where he suggests specialized methods for managing stray cats that he has already implemented in Syros.
Μανώλης Βουτυράκης
He is a Police Officer B in Sitia, Crete. He has excellent knowledge of criminal offenses and law enforcement. At ZSA, he specializes in the application of legal provisions overall in cases of animal control and abuse.
Μιχάλης Χρηστάκης
Michael Christakis holds a Ph.D. in International Relations from the University of Kent at Canterbury (United Kingdom), with a Master's degree in European Studies from the University of Reading (United Kingdom). He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Public Administration from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He is a professor at Zero Stray Academy, teaching "Local Government."
Since 2001, he has served as the Head of Studies and Research at the National Centre for Public Administration and Local Government. Since 2011, he has been a Founding Member and President of the Panhellenic Association of General Secretaries of Local Government "Kleisthenis."

Sophia Zoi graduated from the Veterinary Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 1994. She worked in France from 1994 to 1996 in several clinics as a companion animal veterinarian. In 1997, she founded the Veterinary Clinic of Larissa. Since 2010, she has been a Doctor of Surgery in the Veterinary Department of the University of Thessaly.
She has been involved in soft tissue surgery since 2001, orthopedic surgery, and neurosurgery since 2003. She participates in Greek and international conferences and training seminars as a speaker and has published papers in international scientific journals.
She is a member of the International Society for the Study of Internal Fixation (AOvet), the European Society of Veterinary Orthopedics and Traumatology (ESVOT), the Hellenic Society of Companion Animal Veterinary Medicine (HELKZS), the Board of Directors of the Orthopedic and Neurosurgical Working Group (OMON), and a professor at Zero Stray Academy teaching "Shelters II."
Σεραφίνα Αβραμίδου
Η Σεραφίνα Αβραμίδου είναι η εντεταλμένη σύμβουλος του Δήμου Αθηναίων για τα αδέσποτα ζώα και είναι αυτή που κατάφερε να κάνει τον δήμο μέσα σε 2 χρόνια πρότυπο για όλη την Ελλάδα. Παρέλαβε έναν ακατάλληλο χώρο φιλοξενίας που έμοιαζε με χωματερή και τον μετέτρεψε σε σύγχρονο καταφύγιο, γνωστό πλέον ως «Το καταφύγιο του Σωκράτη». Έχουν φιλοξενηθεί, υιοθετηθεί, στειρωθεί χιλιάδες ζώα μέσω της Αστικής Πανίδας. Είναι ενεργή φιλόζωη για περισσότερα από 20 χρόνια, από το 2008 είναι εθελόντρια στην οργάνωση SAPT Hellas, από το 2016 είναι υπεύθυνη προγραμμάτων στην Animal Action Hellas. Έχουμε την μεγάλη χαρά και τιμή να είναι καθηγήτριά μας στα μαθήματα «Καταφύγια (I)» και «Εθελοντισμός».
Αθανασία Τριανταφυλλοπούλου
H Αθανασία Τριανταφυλλοπούλου είναι Καθηγήτρια Αναπτυξιακών θεσμών της Τοπικής Αυτοδιοίκησης στο Τμήμα Διοίκησης Επιχειρήσεων και Οργανισμών του Πανεπιστημίου Πελοποννήσου. Διδάσκει στο Zero Stray Academy το μάθημα «Τοπική Αυτοδιοίκηση (I)».
Έχει μεταπτυχιακό τίτλο σπουδών με κατεύθυνση «Κράτος και Δημόσια Πολιτική» από το Πολιτικό Τμήμα του Εθνικού Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών και είναι κάτοχος Διδακτορικού Πολιτικών Επιστημών του ίδιου Πανεπιστημίου, με ειδίκευση στις επιχειρήσεις των Οργανισμών Τοπικής Αυτοδιοίκησης. Διδάσκει στο προπτυχιακό και μεταπτυχιακό επίπεδο στο Τμήμα Διοίκησης Επιχειρήσεων και Οργανισμών του Πανεπιστημίου Πελοποννήσου. Διδάσκει, επίσης, στο Μεταπτυχιακό Πρόγραμμα Σπουδών του Τμήματος Οικονομικών Επιστημών, Σχολή Οικονομικών και Πολιτικών Επιστημών του Εθνικού Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών καθώς και στη Θεματική Ενότητα «Διοίκηση Πολιτιστικών Φαινομένων»-Σχολή Κοινωνικών Επιστημών του Ελληνικού Ανοικτού Πανεπιστημίου. Έχει διδάξει θέματα σχετικά με τη διοίκηση και οργάνωση της Κεντρικής Διοίκησης και της Τοπικής Αυτοδιοίκησης καθώς και θέματα δημόσιων πολιτικών της τοπικής αυτοδιοίκησης στην Εθνική Σχολή Δημόσιας Διοίκησης και Αυτοδιοίκησης. Είναι δικηγόρος στον Άρειο Πάγο και έχει εργαστεί, ως νομικός σύμβουλος στην Ελληνική Εταιρία Τοπικής Ανάπτυξης και Αυτοδιοίκησης Α.Ε. Έχει συμμετάσχει σε επιτροπές για την επεξεργασία νομοθετημάτων για ζητήματα της τοπικής αυτοδιοίκησης και της κοινωνικής οικονομίας.
Δημήτρης Γραμματικάκης
Ο Δημήτρης Γραμματικάκης είναι εκπαιδευτής θετικής προσέγγισης και λειτουργεί αμιγώς θετικά εκπαιδευτικά. Είναι καθηγητής μας στα μαθήματα «Καταφύγια (II)» και «Διαχείριση Αδέσποτων».
Έχει τελειώσει νομιμη Ακαδημία εκπαιδευτών στην Θεσσαλονίκη και ειδικεύεται στις φυλές και τους σκύλους που έχουν χαρακτηριστεί-αδίκως- επιθετικές καθώς επίσης και σε φοβικούς/κακοποιημένους σκύλους. Είναι μέλος του διεθνή οργανισμού επαγγελματιών ζώων I.S.A.P, εκπαιδευτής σε 4 πενταμελείς επιτροπές δήμων της Αττικής, ιδιοκτήτης της HOMEFREETRAINING και της ομάδας εκπαιδευτών της και μέλος της ομάδας Alma Libre.
Μάρσα Δημοπούλου
Η Μάρσα Δημοπούλου είναι η πρώτη Ειδική Γραμματέας στην Ελλάδα για την Προστασία των Ζώων.
Είναι δικηγόρος με εξειδίκευση στο Δίκαιο των ζώων, ακτιβίστρια για τα δικαιώματα τους και καθηγήτρια στο μάθημα «Εθνική Στρατηγική τοπικής αυτοδιοίκησης και στόχοι του ν.4830/21» του Zero Stray Academy.
Ως δικηγόρος έχει συνεργαστεί με φιλοζωικά σωματεία και οργανισμούς σε όλη τη χώρα καθώς και με δήμους της, συμβουλευτικά πάνω σε θέματα διαχείρισης των αδέσποτων ζώων.
Είναι Auditor/ Lead Auditor, με γνώσεις στη Διαπραγμάτευση και με μεταπτυχιακό στη Διοίκηση Ανθρώπινου Δυναμικού (Human Resources). Είναι τελειόφοιτη στο Διιδρυματικό Πρόγραμμα Μεταπτυχιακών Σπουδών του Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών "Ζώα: Ηθική, Δίκαιο, Ευζωία".
Μανώλης Βουτυράκης
΅Είναι Αστυνόμος Β στη Σητεία της Κρήτης. Έχει εξαιρετική γνώση των ποινικών αδικημάτων και της εφαρμογής του νόμου. Στο ZSA εξειδικεύεται ως προς την εφαρμογή των νομικών διατάξεων συνολικά στα περιστατικά ελέγχου και κακοποιήσεων των ζώων.
Νίκος Χρυσάκης
Ο πλέον ειδικός για το ρόλο που διαδραματίζει η ΕΛΑΣ κατά της κακοποίησης ζώων είναι ο Αστυνομικός Υποδιευθυντής Ηρακλείου Νίκος Χρυσάκης και συγγραφέας του πρωτοποριακού εγχειριδίου «Το Νομικό Status των Ζώων στην Ελληνική Εννομη Τάξη», ενός οδηγού νομοθεσίας και αστυνομικών ενεργειών για την προστασία των ζώων συντροφιάς. Είναι καθηγητής του Zero Stray Academy στο μάθημα «Ο ρόλος και η συμβολή της ΕΛΑΣ και της Δημοτικής Αστυνομίας.
Βασίλης Τζιγκούρας
Καθηγητής στο μάθημα Καταφύγια (II) είναι ο Βασίλης Τζιγκούρας, ο ιδρυτής της Plus2feet-χειροποίητα αμαξίδια για ζώα που κατασκευάζει αμαξίδια για ανάπηρα ζώα, έχει ήδη φτιάξει για χιλιάδες ζώα τόσο στην Ελλάδα αλλά και σε όλο τον κόσμο. Ο Βασίλης όχι μόνο μαθαίνει τους δήμους πώς να διαχειριστούν ένα ανάπηρο ζώο που ζει στο καταφύγιο αλλά σε συνεργασία με την Ευρωπαϊκή Πίστη θα κατασκευάζει αφιλοκερδώς αναπηρικά αμαξίδια για τους δήμους που έχουν ολοκληρώσει το βασικό πρόγραμμα σπουδών στην ακαδημία μας.
Αλέξης Πατέλης
Ο Αλέξης Πατέλης είναι κάτοχος διδακτορικού διπλώματος στα οικονομικά από το πανεπιστήμιο του Princeton στις ΗΠΑ, όπου ολοκλήρωσε τη διατριβή του με επιβλέποντα καθηγητή τον πρώην Διοικητή της Κεντρικής Τράπεζας των ΗΠΑ, Ben Bernanke, επικεφαλής του Οικονομικού Γραφείου του Πρωθυπουργού και καθηγητής του Zero Stray Academy.
Διαθέτει, επίσης, μεταπτυχιακό στα οικονομικά από το ίδιο πανεπιστήμιο και πτυχίο στα οικονομικά και τα μαθηματικά από το Sussex University του Ηνωμένου Βασιλείου. Τα τελευταία 27 χρόνια εργάζεται ως οικονομολόγος και αναλυτής στον χρηματοπιστωτικό τομέα στο Λονδίνο, τη Νέα Υόρκη και την Αθήνα.
Κατερίνα Παπαποστόλου
Οι Φιλοζωικές Ενημερώσεις Σχολείων στην Ελλάδα τα τελευταία χρόνια έχουν σε έναν πολύ μεγάλο βαθμό την υπογραφή της και είμαστε πολύ χαρούμενοι που την καλωσορίζουμε ως καθηγήτρια στο μάθημα "εκπαιδεύσεις σχολείων" στην Ακαδημία μας. Η Κατερίνα Παπαποστόλου είναι Εκπαιδευτικός με εξειδίκευση στην ειδική αγωγή και στη Σχολική Ψυχολογία, μια από τις διακεκριμένες εκπαιδευτικούς για το 2020, πιστοποιημένη Ζωοθεραπεύτρια από το IFZ και συγγραφέας φιλοζωικών εκπαιδευτικών βιβλίων που στόχο έχουν να δουν οι αναγνώστες τη ζωή μέσα από τα μάτια ακηδεμόνευτων ζώων αντιλαμβανόμενοι πως όλοι μας είμαστε ισότιμου στον πλανήτη. Με μια εμπειρία που ξεπερνά τα 20 χρόνια στη δημιουργία και στην εκπόνηση εκπαιδευτικών προγραμμάτων και έχοντας εκπαιδεύσει μέχρι σήμερα περισσότερους από 350.000 μαθητές σε περισσότερα από 650 σχολεία στη χώρα, είναι μαζί μας, ώστε να μεταφέρει στους Δήμους τη δύναμη των φιλοζωικών εκπαιδεύσεων σχολείων αλλά και των βιωματικών φιλοζωικών σεμιναρίων, ως μια εξαιρετικώ σημαντική παράμετρο στον τρόπο διαχείρισης του αδέσποτου και δεσποζόμενου πληθυσμού.
Κωστής Τοκατλίδης
Στο μάθημα «Νομικά I» καθηγητής μας είναι ο δικηγόρος παρ’ Αρείω Πάγω και λέκτορας Νομικής στο Πανεπιστήμιο του Λονδίνου Κωστής Τοκατλίδης. Ο κ. Τοκατλίδης -που είχε συμμετάσχει και στη δίκη του Έκτορα, του σκύλου που μαχαιρώθηκε στη μέση του δρόμου μέρα μεσημέρι- εξηγεί στους δήμους το υφιστάμενο νομικό πλαίσιο, τις αρμοδιότητες και τις υποχρεώσεις τους.
Ευάγγελος Δρίβας
Ο Ευάγγελος Δρίβας είναι Αστυνομικός, Κλινικός Ψυχολόγος και Ψυχοθεραπευτής με ειδίκευση στη Γνωσιακή Θεραπεία και καθηγητής μας στο μάθημα του Zero Stray Academy «Κακοποίηση Ζώων». Είναι δημιουργός της σελίδας και blog 'Report Animal Abuse Greece' που λειτουργεί από το 2014, με σκοπό να ενημερώνει τους χρήστες για την κείμενη νομοθεσία, τις διαδικασίες καταγγελίας κι άλλα θέματα κακοποίησης ζώων, μέσα από διάφορα άρθρα και επιστημονικές μελέτες. Από το 2017 μελετά το θέμα της κακοποίησης ζώων και της διερεύνησης της συσχέτισής της με την ενδοοικογενειακή και διαπροσωπική βία, ενώ με την τελευταία μελέτη του (2021) πάνω σε αυτό το θέμα, προσεγγίζει τη σκιαγράφηση του εγκληματικού-ψυχολογικού προφίλ του δράστη κακοποίησης ζώων.
Ζωή Κοντού
Η Ζωή Κοντού, Πρόεδρος της Οργάνωσης Vets in Action για την Ελλάδα είναι καθηγήτρια του Zero Stray Academy στο μάθημα «Διάσωση και Στείρωση». Είναι κάτοχος διδακτορικού (PhD) στην Ιστορία του Αθλητισμού, τελειόφοιτος ΑΠΘ (με υποτροφία όπου πρώτευσε στο έτος αποφοίτησης), του Τμήματος Φυσικής Αγωγής & Αθλητισμού. Η κ. Κοντού διετέλεσε πρόεδρος του Φιλοζωικού Ομίλου Σερρών επί 3 συνεχείς θητείες, μέλος του ΔΣ της ΠΦΠΟ και είναι εκπαιδεύτρια σε ημερίδες και σχολεία με αντικείμενο την προώθηση της Φιλοζωίας, την προστασία του περιβάλλοντος και την ενίσχυση της νομοθεσίας κατά της κακοποίησης των ζώων.
Η κ. Κοντού, με πολυετή εμπειρία και πανελλαδική δράση στο χώρο των προγραμμάτων μαζικών στειρώσεων αδέσποτων ζώων έχει καταφέρει ως επικεφαλής της διεθνούς οργάνωσης Vets in Action για την Ελλάδα να οργανώσει και να υλοποιήσει χιλιάδες στειρώσεις αδέσποτων σκύλων και γατών σε συνεργασία με δήμους όλης της επικράτειας.
Μιχάλης Χρηστάκης
Ο Μιχάλης Χρηστάκης είναι Διδάκτωρ Διεθνών Σχέσεων του Πανεπιστημίου του Kent at Canterbury (Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο), με Μεταπτυχιακό στις Ευρωπαϊκές Σπουδές (Πανεπιστήμιο Reading, Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο), πτυχιούχος Πολιτικών Επιστημών και Δημόσιας Διοίκησης (Εθνικό Καποδιστριακό Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών) και καθηγητής του Zero Stray Academy «Τοπική Αυτοδιοίκηση».
Είναι Υπεύθυνος Σπουδών και Έρευνας στο Εθνικό Κέντρο Δημόσιας Διοίκησης και Αυτοδιοίκησης από το 2001. Από το 2011 είναι Ιδρυτικό Μέλος και Πρόεδρος της Πανελλήνιας Ένωσης Γενικών Γραμματέων Τοπικής Αυτοδιοίκησης “Κλεισθένης”.
Σοφία Ζώη
Η Σοφία Ζώη αποφοίτησε από το τμήμα Κτηνιατρικής του Αριστοτέλειου Πανεπιστήμιου Θεσσαλονίκης το 1994. Εργάστηκε στη Γαλλία από το 1994 – 1996 σε πολλές κλινικές ,ως κτηνίατρος ζώων συντροφιάς. Το 1997 ίδρυσε την Κτηνιατρική Κλινική Λάρισας. Από το 2010 είναι Διδάκτορας Χειρουργικής του τμήματος Κτηνιατρικής του Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλίας.
Ασχολείται με την Χειρουργική μαλακών μορίων από το 2001, την Ορθοπαιδική χειρουργική και την Νευροχειρουργική από το 2003. Συμμετέχει σε ελληνικά και διεθνή συνέδρια και επιμορφωτικά σεμινάρια ως ομιλήτρια και έχει δημοσιεύσει εργασίες σε διεθνή επιστημονικά περιοδικά.
Είναι μέλος της Διεθνούς Εταιρίας Μελέτης Εσωτερικής Οστεοσύνθεσης ( AOvet), της Ευρωπαϊκής Εταιρίας Κτηνιατρικής Ορθοπαιδικής και Τραυματιολογίας (ESVOT), της Ελληνικής Εταιρίας Κτηνιατρικής Ζώων Συντροφιάς (ΕΛ.Ε.Κ.Ζ.Σ), του Δ.Σ. της Ομάδα Εργασίας Ορθοπαιδικής και Νευροχειρουργικής (ΟΜΟΝ) και καθηγήτρια του Zero Stray Academy στο μάθημα "Καταφύγια II".
Σταματίνα Σταματάκου
Διευθύντρια του Zero Stray Academy είναι η δημοσιογράφος με έντονη ακτιβιστική δράση και τελειόφοιτη του Πολιτικού της Νομικής (Τμήμα Πολιτικής Επιστήμης και Δημόσιας Διοίκησης ΕΚΠΑ) Σταματίνα Σταματάκου. Έχει συνεργαστεί με μεγάλα μέσα ενημέρωσης και ως δημοσιογράφος εξειδικεύτηκε στο φιλοζωικό ρεπορτάζ πραγματοποιώντας αυτοψίες σε δημοτικά κυνοκομεία, αναδεικνύοντας ειδεχθείς κακοποιήσεις και θέτοντας την φιλοζωία ως ζήτημα υψηλής πολιτικής μέσα από τη δουλειά της. Η ίδια είναι ενεργή εθελόντρια από τα μαθητικά της χρόνια ενώ έχει διασώσει εκατοντάδες ζώα μετατρέποντας το σπίτι της σε ένα μικρό προσωπικό καταφύγιο. Όπως τονίζει, η φιλοζωία είναι ζήτημα πολιτικής και πολιτισμού και η προσφορά απέναντι σε όλα τα πλάσματα ένδειξη ανεξάντλητης ανθρωπιάς.
Δημήτρης Παπαστεργίου
Τα αδέσποτα δεν γνωρίζουν τα διοικητικά όρια των δήμων και αν δεν εργαστούν όλοι οι δήμοι συντονισμένα η αποτυχία του ενός θα αναιρέσει την επιτυχία του άλλου. Καθηγητής στην 20η διδασκαλία «Εθνική Στρατηγική Τοπικής Αυτοδιοίκησης» του Zero Stray Academy είναι ο Δημήτρης Παπαστεργίου, πρόεδρος της Κεντρικής Ένωσης Δήμων Ελλάδας (ΚΕΔΕ) και δήμαρχος Τρικκαίων. Το μάθημα απευθύνεται τόσο στους εκπαιδευόμενους αντιδημάρχους/εντεταλμένους συμβούλους και μόνιμους δημοτικούς υπαλλήλους αλλά και στους δημάρχους.
Σοφία Τζονίκη
Η Σοφία Τζονίκη είναι η Γενική Γραμματέας του Zero Stray Pawject και καθηγήτρια του Zero Stray Academy. Από το 2009 ως το 2019 ήταν η Γενική Γραμματέας της Πανελλήνιας Φιλοζωικής Ομοσπονδίας και ο σύνδεσμος της Ομοσπονδίας με την Εισαγγελία και τα Αστυνομικά Τμήματα. Ειδικεύεται σε θέματα κακοποίησης και παράνομης εκτροφής και καθοδηγεί ιδιώτες και σωματεία να καταγγέλλουν τα περιστατικά κακοποίησης. Επίσης είναι η πρόεδρος του Stray.gr που η αποστολή του είναι η προστασία και η φροντίδα των αδέσποτων ζώων και η προαγωγή της φιλοζωίας και υπεύθυνης υιοθεσίας στους πολίτες.
Γεωργία Διαμαντοπούλου
Από το 2018 η Γεωργία Διαμαντοπούλου είναι η Συντονίστρια Ευρωπαϊκής Πολιτικής για τα Ζώα Συντροφιάς στο γραφείο Βρυξελλών της διεθνούς οργάνωσης προστασίας των ζώων FOUR PAWS / VIER PFOTEN και πλέον στο Zero Stray Academy είναι καθηγήτριά μας στο μάθημα «Νομικά (II)».
Με ειδίκευση στην ταυτοποίηση και καταγραφή (I&R), τις μετακινήσεις και το παράνομο εμπόριο εκπροσωπεί την οργάνωση στην υποομάδα για την υγεία και την ευημερία των κατοικίδιων στο εμπόριο (Subgroup on Pets in Trade) που λειτουργεί στο πλαίσιο της του EU Plaftorm on Animal Welfare, καθώς και στην Ομάδα Εργασίας για τα Ζώα Συντροφιάς του Intergroup on the Welfare and Conservation of Animals του Ευρωπαϊκού Κοινοβουλίου. Με σπουδές στο KU Leuven έχει εργάστεί σε Eurogroup for Animals, Ευρωπαϊκό Κοινοβούλιο και ευρωπαϊκά μέσα ενημέρωσης.
Λεωνίδας Χριστόπουλος
O Λεωνίδας Χριστόπουλος είναι Γενικός Γραμματέας Ψηφιακής Διακυβέρνησης και Απλούστευσης Διαδικασιών και καθηγητής του Zero Stray Academy στο μάθημα «Δημοτικό Μητρώο».
Έχει πολυετή εμπειρία στα θέματα διοικητικής και δημοσιονομικής μεταρρύθμισης, απλούστευσης διαδικασιών και καλής νομοθέτησης. Είναι απόφοιτος τμήματος Διεθνών και Ευρωπαϊκών Σπουδών του Παντείου Πανεπιστημίου με μεταπτυχιακές σπουδές στο Πανεπιστήμιο του Warwick. Είναι αριστούχος απόφοιτος της Εθνικής Σχολής Δημόσιας Διοίκησης και μόνιμος υπάλληλος του Υπουργείου Οικονομικών.
Ειρήνη Ταπούτη
Η Ειρήνη Ταπούτη είναι κτηνίατρος για περισσότερα από 40 χρόνια. Έχει αντιμετωπίσει πολύ δύσκολα περιστατικά και έχει σώσει χιλιάδες ζώα. Διακρίνεται για την εθελοντική της προσφορά τις τελευταίες δεκαετίες καθώς έχει περιθάλψει αφιλοκερδώς αναρίθμητα ζώα. Στο Zero Stray Academy είναι καθηγήτρια στη μάθημα «Σημασία της στείρωσης (Ι)».
Εριέττα Καραμπέτσου
H Εριέττα Καραμπέτσου είναι επαγγελματίας Εκπαιδεύτρια Σκύλων, Σύμβουλος Συμπεριφοράς, Ψυχολογίας και Ευζωίας Σκύλων με ειδίκευση στα θέματα που σχετίζονται με τον Αποχωρισμό (Άγχος Αποχωρισμού) ως Πιστοποιημένη εκπαιδεύτρια CSAT (Certified Separation Anxiety Trainer) και καθηγήτρια του Zero Stray Academy στο μάθημα «Καταφύγια (II). Ειδικεύεται επίσης στα θέματα και τις σχέσεις που αφορούν "Παιδί και Σκύλος" και είναι μέλος του Doggone Safe ως πιστοποιημένη εκπαιδεύτρια για ενημερώσεις Αποφυγής Δαγκώματος σε παιδιά και ενηλίκους (Dog Bite Safety Educator)
Απόφοιτη της Ακαδημίας Επαιδευτών Victoria Stilwell Academy με θεωρητική και πρακτική εξάσκηση στο Wigan στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο.
Το 2017 εξέδωσε το πρώτο της βιβλίο με τίτλο «Η Τέχνη του να επικοινωνώ με τον σκύλο μου» από τις Εκδόσεις Φυλάτος.
Η Εριέττα έχει πιστοποίηση Ά βοηθειών σε σκύλους απο το British College of Canine Studies. Παραδίδει δωρεάν μαθήματα για αδέσποτους σκύλους και έχει διατελέσει ως μέλος σε Πενταμελής επιτροπές Δήμων για την διαχείριση αδεσπότων.
Μάνος Βορρίσης
O Μάνος Βορρίσης είναι κτηνίατρος και εργάζεται μεταξύ Σύρου και Τήνου. Στη Σύρο λειτουργεί την We Live Together, με κύριο αντικείμενο τις μαζικές στειρώσεις στα άστεγα γατιά, την ιδρύση γατοφενείων, την εξυγίανση και υιοθεσία των ΠειΓατών και τη δημιουργία εκπαιδευτικών και πολιτιστικών δράσεων με αντικείμενο την ευζωία. Στην Τήνο λειτουργεί την Κτηνιατρική Κλινική Τήνου. Έχει οργανώσει διάφορες αποστολές για στειρώσεις στη Φολέγανδρο, Αμοργό, και Κουφονήσια.
Είναι καθηγητής στο μάθημα του Zero Stray Academy «Σημασία της Στείρωσης» και προτείνει εξειδικευμένους τρόπους διαχείρισης των αδέσποτων γατιών που έχει ήδη εφαρμόσει στη Σύρο.
Μαρία Παπαμιχαήλ
Η Μαρία Παπαμιχαήλ είναι πολιτική επιστημών και φιλόλογος, μέλος της ομάδας εργασίας του ΣΒΑΠ, έχει υπάρξει για έτη επιστημονικός συνεργάτης στην Κ.Σ. ΟΑΣΕ (Οργανισμος για την Ασφάλεια στην Ευρώπη), επιστημονικός συνεργάτης στο Υπ. Άμυνας, στο Υπ. Ναυτιλίας, σύμβουλος επικοινωνίας στο Ελληνικό Ινστιτούτο πολιτιστικής διπλωματίας, συνεργάτης με το Μουσείο Περιβάλλοντος του ΠΙΟΠ, την Ομαδα Αιγαίου, το Διεθνές Φεστιβαλ Κινηματογράφου Γέφυρες κ.α.
Είναι καθηγήτρια του Zero Stray Academy και διδάσκει το πώς μπορεί ένας δήμος να προωθήσει την δουλειά του.
Τάκης Προεστάκης
Είναι ο άνθρωπος που γνωρίζει στην Ελλάδα όσο ελάχιστοι πώς δημιουργείται ένα καταφύγιο, πώς συντηρείται σωστά και πώς δίνονται τα ζώα προς υιοθεσία. Ιδρυτής του Takis Shelter, του διασημότερου καταφυγίου στη χώρα μας, από το οποίο έχουν διασωθεί και υιοθετηθεί χιλιάδες ζώα.
Έχουμε τη χαρά και την τιμή ο Τάκης Προεστάκης να είναι καθηγητής του Zero Stray Academy στο μάθημα Καταφύγια (II).
Δήμητρα Λυγούρα
Είναι πτυχιούχος Μηχανικός Ηλεκτρονικός Υπολογιστικών Συστημάτων από το Τεχνολογικό Εκπαιδευτικό Ίδρυμα Πειραιά και έχει μεταπτυχιακό τίτλο σπουδών από το Πανεπιστήμιο Πειραιά στη Διοίκηση Έργων (Project Management).
Από τον Ιούλιο του 2019 έως και σήμερα είναι διευθύντρια στο ιδιαίτερο γραφείο του Γενικού Γραμματέα Ψηφιακής Διακυβέρνησης και Απλούστευσης Διαδικασιών στο Υπουργείο Ψηφιακής Διακυβέρνησης. Προΐστανται μιας ομάδας δέκα ατόμων, των συνεργατών του Γενικού Γραμματέα, με την οποία συνεργάζεται για τον καθορισμό και την ιεράρχηση των στρατηγικών της Γενικής Γραμματείας. Όσον αφορά τη δομή των υπηρεσιών της Γενικής Γραμματείας, συντονίζει τις εργασίες σε οκτώ οργανικές μονάδες στις οποίες υπηρετούν 84 στελέχη του δημοσίου, παρέχοντας κατευθύνσεις για την επιτυχή διεκπεραίωση των αρμοδιοτήτων τους και συστάσεις για τη βελτίωση των αποτελεσμάτων της εργασίας τους. Από τα πρώτα χρόνια της φοιτητικής της ζωής, έλαβε μέρος σε πολλούς οργανισμούς που προσπαθούν να δημιουργήσουν καλύτερο αντίκτυπο στην κοινότητα. Είναι μέλος, του RotaryInternational, ενός παγκόσμιου οργανισμού που ενώνει ανθρώπους για να αναλάβουν δράση σε βιώσιμα έργα, από τον αλφαβητισμό και την ειρήνη μέχρι το νερό και την υγεία. Η εθελοντική της δράση μετράει συμμετοχές σε πλήθος προγραμμάτων με σημαντικότερο αυτών το Πρόγραμμα Εθελοντισμού των Παγκόσμιων Θερινών Αγώνων Special Olympics ΑΘΗΝΑ 2011.
Ιωάννης Γαϊτανάκης
Ο Ιώαννης Γαϊτανάκης, Προϊστάμενος Διεύθυνσης της Δημοτικής Αστυνομίας του Δήμου Ιεράπετρας Κρήτης, είναι καθηγητής του Zero Stray Academy στο μάθημα «Η συμβολή της ΕΛΑΣ και της Δημοτικής Αστυνομίας». Είναι κάτοχος μεταπτυχιακού (Μ.Β.Α) στη Διοίκηση Επιχειρήσεων & Οργανισμών, τελειόφοιτος (με υποτροφία) του πρωτοποριακού ΔΠΜΣ του Τμήματος Φιλοσοφίας & Ελληνικού Ινστιτούτο Παστέρ ΖΩΑ: ΗΘΙΚΗ, ΔΙΚΑΙΟ, ΕΥΖΩΙΑ, υποψήφιος διδάκτορας του Τμήματος Διοίκησης Επιχειρήσεων & Τουρισμού του ΕΛ.ΜΕ.ΠΑ με θέμα διδακτορικής διατριβής «Οι επιπτώσεις της κακοποίησης των ζώων συντροφιάς στην εικόνα ενός τουριστικού προορισμού και οι δυνατότητες ανάπτυξης φιλοζωικού τουρισμού στην Κρήτη» και εκπαιδευτής σε ημερίδες και σχολεία με αντικείμενο την προώθηση της Φιλοζωίας.
Ο κ. Γαϊτανάκης με πολυετή προσφορά και πολλές βραβεύσεις για τις δράσεις του υπέρ της προστασίας των ζώων πραγματικά αποτελεί πανελλήνιο σημείο αναφοράς, καθώς η Δημοτική Αστυνομία Ιεράπετρας της οποίας ηγείται (με ρεκόρ ελέγχων και ρεκόρ διαπιστωμένων παραβάσεων). Αποτελεί πρότυπο υπηρεσίας όσον αφορά τη δράση της κατά τις κακοποίησης των ζώων και την προστασία των αδέσποτων ζώων. Η δράση της έχει γίνει γνωστή ακόμη και εκτός Ελλάδας δίνοντας το παράδειγμα ορθής λειτουργίας σε όλη την χώρα.
Alma Libre
H Alma Libre δημιουργήθηκε τον Μάρτιο του 2021 από μία ομάδα έμπειρων εθελοντών προκειμένου να καλύψει ένα μεγάλο κενό που υπήρχε στην φιλοζωία όσον αφορά την διάσωση κάθε ζώου που βρισκόταν σε άμεσο κίνδυνο ζωής, είτε επειδή θα είχε εγκλωβιστεί σε κάποιο επικίνδυνο σημείο, είτε επειδή θα είχε τραυματιστεί ή αρρωστήσει και θα χρειαζόταν άμεση παγίδευση η οποία απαιτεί στην πλειοψηφία των περιπτώσεων εμπειρία και ειδικό εξοπλισμό για να πραγματοποιηθεί προκειμένου να πιαστεί το ζώο για να διακομιστεί κατόπιν προς την εκάστοτε απαραίτητη κτηνιατρική περίθαλψη ή φιλοξενία. Οι εθελοντές χωρίς να έχουν κανένα οικονομικό κέρδος μπορούν πλέον να ανταποκρίνονται όσο το δυνατόν πιο άμεσα σε μεγάλο αριθμό επειγόντων περιστατικών στην Αττική διασώζοντας από βέβαιο θάνατο μεγάλο αριθμό ζώων και βοηθώντας πολλούς άλλους φιλόζωους εθελοντές να περιθάλψουν μη διαχειρίσιμα ζώα στις αποικίες τους.

Ο Θοδωρής είναι Σύμβουλος Επιχειρήσεων με 30 χρόνια εμπειρίας έχοντας συμβουλέψει τις ανώτατες διοικήσεις δεκάδων χρηματοπιστωτικών ιδρυμάτων σε ΗΠΑ, Μεξικό, Κεντρική Αμερική, Ωκεανία και Ευρώπη.
Πριν από την ίδρυση της εταιρείας συμβούλων Delos Advisors το 2015, ο Θοδωρής ήταν επικεφαλής του Retail Banking Strategy Practice στην First Manhattan Consulting Group. Έχει διατελέσει ανώτατο στέλεχος (Partner) στην Mitchell Madison Group και Associate στην The Boston Consulting Group στην Νέα Υόρκη. Είναι κάτοχος πτυχίου Οικονομικών Επιστημών (με έπαινο) από το Georgetown University και MBA από το Harvard Business School.

Η Silja είναι Οικονομολόγος με 20 χρόνια εμπειρίας στον τομέα της φαρμακευτικής και της δημόσιας υγείας σε σημαντικές διοικητικές θέσεις πολυεθνικών εταιρειών όπως Johnson & Johnson, WPP, L' Οreal και Porsche.
Κατέχει τη θέση του συμβούλου σε παγκόσμιο επίπεδο για την Mars Petcare για την δημιουργία επιχειρηματιών μοντέλων για την εξάλειψη των αδέσποτων ζώων σε διεθνές επίπεδο.
Κατέχει πολυετή εμπειρία και γνώσεις σχετικά με τον τρόπο επίλυσης - μείωσης του αριθμού των αδέσποτων ζώων σε Ινδία, ΗΠΑ, Ευρώπη, Κίνα και Ρωσία.

Η Λαμπρινή Βέργου από το Φεβρουάριο του 2022 αποτελεί μέλος της ομάδας του Zero Stray Pawjectτου Zero Stray Pawject ως Υπεύθυνη Σύμβουλος Εφαρμογής Προγράμματος (Account
Manager).
Η Λαμπρινή έχει ιστορικό 19 ετών σε πολλές επιτυχημένες Startups σε διεθνές επίπεδο στο χώρο των Tour Operators, Ξενοδοχειακών Αλυσίδων, Εταιρειών παραγωγής Θεαμάτων και των Αθλητικών Διοργανώσεων.
Ελεάννα Τζίτζη
Η Ελεάννα είναι απόφοιτη του Τμήματος Τουρκικών και Σύγχρονων Ασιατικών Σπουδών του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών. Κατά τα φοιτητικά της χρόνια, εντάχθηκε σε ερευνητική ομάδα που μελετά ζητήματα και θέματα που άπτονται στην εφαρμοσμένη γλωσσολογία κατά την εκμάθηση της τουρκικής. Έχουν πάρει μέρος σε 3 διεθνή συνέδρια και άρθρο της έρευνας τους έχει δημοσιευθεί στην IJLET.
Από μικρή ηλικία είναι ευαισθητοποιημένη με το θέμα των αδέσποτων ζώων, καθώς προέρχεται από μία οικογένεια η οποία φρόντιζε μέσα από την καθημερινότητά της να δείχνει έμπρακτα την αγάπη της στα ζώα, φροντίζοντας και διασώζοντας όσα βρίσκονταν σε ανάγκη. Όταν εντάχθηκε στην ομάδα Ζωοφιλίας του σχολείου, όπου μέσα στις δράσεις τους ήταν η σίτιση των αδέσποτων ζώων της περιοχής, συνειδητοποίησε ότι με μία μικρή κίνηση του καθενός από εμάς μπορεί να αλλάξει σιγά – σιγά ο κόσμος. Πιστεύει ότι η ουσία βρίσκεται στις πράξεις για αυτό και αποφάσισε δουλέψει στο Zero Stray Pawject, όπου και αποτελεί μέλος της ομάδας από το Φεβρουάριο του 2022, ως Υπεύθυνη Σύμβουλος Εφαρμογής Προγράμματος (Account Manager).
Σπύρος Ρωμάνος
Η Ομάδα μας μεγαλώνει: Από τον Δεκέμβριο του 2022 έχουμε κοντά μας σαν Υπεύθυνο Σύμβουλο Εφαρμογής Προγράμματος (Account Manager) τον Σπύρο Ρωμάνο. Ο Σπύρος προέρχεται από τον χώρο της διοίκησης επιχειρήσεων, έχοντας διατελέσει στέλεχος σε πολυεθνικές και ελληνικές εταιρίες καταναλωτικών προϊόντων και λιανεμπορίου, με εμπειρία σε εμπορική διεύθυνση, marketing, λειτουργίες και γενική διεύθυνση. Έχει εργαστεί στην Ελλάδα, τη Βουλγαρία και την Κύπρο.

Ο Ιωάννης Κωνσταντέλλης είναι απόφοιτος της Στρατιωτικής Σχολής Αξιωματικών Σωμάτων (Σ.Σ.Α.Σ.) της Θεσσαλονίκης και της Κτηνιατρικής του ΑΠΘ.
Είναι Διευθυντής Αποσπάσματος Κτηνιατρικής Υποστήριξης του Στρατιωτικού Νοσοκομείου Αλεξανδρούπολης και τα τελευταία χρόνια είναι ο αρμόδιος κτηνίατρος του προγράμματος Διαχείρισης Αδέσποτων Ζώων στο Δήμο Αλεξανδρούπολης και Υπεύθυνος για το ΚΑΖ (Καταφύγιο Αδέσποτων Ζώων) του Δήμου Αλεξανδρούπολης.

Η Νατάσα Κουμπούρου είναι ψυχολόγος, απόφοιτη του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών. Έχει εκπαιδευτεί στο Compassionate Inquiry, εργαλείο για παροχή υπηρεσιών σε ενήλικες που έχουν βιώσει τραύμα. Η Νεφέλη Σίνου είναι κτηνίατρος με μεγάλη εμπειρία σε δημοτικά προγράμματα και καταφύγια.
Εξειδικεύεται στη διαχείριση σκύλων καταφυγίου, προγράμματα μαζικών στειρώσεων και διαχείριση κρίσεων. Διαχειρίστηκε κτηνιατρικά με την ομάδα μας τα δημοτικά κυνοκομεία της Σπάρτης, το #ProjectSparti, από την πρώτη στιγμή έως και σήμερα, καταφέρνοντας την πλήρη περίθαλψη 403 ζώων, στη μεγαλύτερη κρίση που έγινε ποτέ γνωστή σε δημοτικό κυνοκομείο και κάτω από αντίξοες συνθήκες.

Ο Νίκος Μερίτσης είναι ιδρυτής HAPPY TAILS SA. Είναι δημιουργός νόμιμου καταφυγίου του Δήμου Τρικκαίων και ανάδοχος του προγράμματος διαχείρισης του Δήμου Τρικκαίων.
Άρτεμης Ράφα
Η Άρτεμις Ράφα είναι επαγγελματίας στο χώρο του marketing και της επικοινωνίας και τα τελευταία 8 χρόνια εργάζεται στον τομέα των τηλεπικοινωνιών. Εκείνη και ο σύντροφός της, Γιάννης, έχουν κατά καιρούς περιθάλψει διάφορα ζώα. Ο σκύλος τους, Ηρακλής και ο γάτος τους, Λουκουμής, οι οποίοι ήταν και οι 2 αδέσποτοι, είναι μέλη της οικογένειάς τους, 7 και 9 χρονών αντίστοιχα. Μαζί με τον Γίαννη, τον Πάνο και τον Τάσο έχουν δημιουργήσει την εφαρμογή “Spot a Stray”, ευελπιστώντας να βοηθήσουν στο πρόβλημα των αδέσποτων σκύλων στην Ελλάδα.
Πάνος Αντωνόπουλος
Είναι πολιτικός μηχανικός με μεταπτυχιακό στην διαχείριση και προστασία περιβάλλοντος, και τα τελευταία 6 χρόνια εργάζεται σε Ευρωπαϊκά χρηματοδοτικά προγράμματα. Παράλληλα ασχολείται και με καλλιτεχνικά projects (ζωγραφική, graffiti). Υιοθέτησε τον Gizmo πριν από 5 χρόνια και από τότε ανακάλυψε ότι "αγαπάω τα ζώα περισσότερο από όσο νόμιζα. Η ιδέα της Άρτεμις για το ‘’Spot a Stray’’ ήρθε την κατάλληλη στιγμή".
Γιάννης Βαβίτσας
Ο Ιωάννης Βαβίτσας είναι κάτοχος μεταπτυχιακού τίτλου στη Φυσική και τα τελευταία 16 χρόνια εργάζεται ως μηχανικός τηλεπικοινωνιών. Τον Μάρτιο του 2022 εξέδωσε το πρώτο του μυθιστόρημα «Μπαντ Λακ*» ενώ τον Ιούνιο του 2013 το διήγημά του «Ματωμένος Ματίς» συμμετείχε στη συλλογή διηγημάτων «15 σφαίρες αναζητούν θύματα» στα πλαίσια διαγωνισμού αστυνομικής λογοτεχνίας. Αναπόσπαστα μέλη της οικογένειάς του με την Άρτεμις είναι τα δύο τετράποδα με ουρά και είναι περήφανοι που αυτά αποτελούν τα μεγάλα αδελφάκια του μωρού τους.
Τάσος Κουμασίδης
Ο Τάσος Κουμασίδης, γεννήθηκε στη Θεσσαλονίκη και αυτή τη στιγμή ζει και εργάζεται στο Λονδίνο. Έχει εργαστεί ως δημοσιογράφος σε ραδιόφωνο και εφημερίδα της Θεσσαλονίκης, ενώ απο το 2010 ειδικεύεται στο χώρο του online gaming στον τομέα του marketing. Κατά την περίοδο 2013-2016 εργαζόταν στο Γιβραλτάρ, όπου και υιοθέτησε τη γάτα του τη Σάμμυ με την οποία συγκατοικούν τα τελευταία 8 χρόνια. Με την Άρτεμις, τον Γιάννη και τον Πάνο έχουν δημιουργήσει την εφαρμογή “Spot a Stray” με το όραμα να γίνει ένα πολύτιμο εργαλείο στην καταγραφή και την διάσωση των αδέσποτων.
Παντελής Κοσμίδης
O Παντελής Κοσμίδης είναι μέλος της ομάδας των Υπέυθυνων Συμβούλων Εφαρμογής Προγράμματος (Account Manager) από το Σεπτέμβριο του 2023. Ο Παντελής είναι Χημικός Μηχανικός με μεταπτυχιακό στη Διοίκηση Επιχειρήσεων και διαθέτει πολυετή επαγγελματική εμπειρία σε πολυεθνικές στην Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό, στους κλάδους των Καταναλωτικών, Βιομηχανικών και Κεφαλαιουχικών αγαθών.
Με πολυετή επίσης δραστηριότητα στην προστασία της ευζωίας των ζώων συντροφιάς, υπηρετεί ως μέλος της ομάδας το σκοπό του Zero Stray Pawject, με πολύ αγάπη και σεβασμό για τους τετράποδους, πιστούς και παντοτινούς φίλους του ανθρώπου.
Ζωή Κοντού
Zoi Kontou, President of the Organization Vets in Action for Greece, is a professor at Zero Stray Academy teaching the course "Rescue and Sterilization." She holds a PhD in Sports History, graduating with honors from the Department of Physical Education & Sports Science at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
Ms. Kontou served as the president of the Animal Welfare Society of Serres for three consecutive terms, and she is a member of the Board of Directors of the Panhellenic Animal Welfare Federation (PFPO). She also conducts training sessions and lectures in schools to promote animal welfare, environmental protection, and the enhancement of legislation against animal cruelty.
With extensive experience and nationwide involvement in mass sterilization programs for stray animals, Ms. Kontou, as the head of the international organization Vets in Action for Greece, has successfully organized and implemented thousands of sterilizations of stray dogs and cats in collaboration with municipalities across the country.
Δήμητρα Λυγούρα
Natasa Koubourou is an Electronic Systems Engineer graduate from the Technological Educational Institute of Piraeus, with a master's degree in Project Management from the University of Piraeus. Since July 2019, she has been serving as a director at the private office of the General Secretary for Digital Governance and Simplification of Procedures at the Ministry of Digital Governance. She oversees a team of ten individuals, including collaborators of the General Secretary, with whom she collaborates on determining and prioritizing the strategies of the General Secretariat. Regarding the structure of the services of the General Secretariat, she coordinates the work of eight organic units with 84 public servants, providing guidance for the successful completion of their responsibilities and recommendations for improving their work results. Since her early years as a student, she has participated in numerous organizations striving to create a positive impact in the community. She is a member of Rotary International, a global organization that brings people together to take action on sustainable projects, ranging from literacy and peace to water and health. Her volunteer work includes participation in various programs, with the most notable being the Volunteer Program of the Special Olympics World Summer Games ATHENS 2011.

Instructor in the 20th session of the "National Strategy for Local Government" at the Zero Stray Academy is Dimitris Papastergiou, the president of the Central Union of Municipalities of Greece (KEDE) and the mayor of Trikala. The course is aimed at both trainee deputy mayors/appointed advisors and permanent municipal employees, as well as mayors themselves. It emphasizes the importance of coordinated action among municipalities to address the issue of stray animals, as strays do not recognize administrative boundaries, and the failure of one municipality can negate the success of another.

Leonidas Christopoulos is the General Secretary of Digital Governance and Process Simplification and a professor at Zero Stray Academy teaching "Municipal Registry." With extensive experience in administrative and fiscal reform, process simplification, and good legislation, he graduated from the Department of International and European Studies at the Panteion University, with postgraduate studies at the University of Warwick. He is a distinguished graduate of the National School of Public Administration and a permanent employee of the Ministry of Finance.
